Roll Marks???

OK I looked at abbreviations thread, I did not see what you guys mean by "roll marks". What is it? Did I not look hard enough?

Roll marks are the markings on the side of the slide of a gun. The lettering and/or logo.

Thanks. I was thinking that, but since Kimbers look like a "!@#$%^&*, imigrant with no trianing" put them on.
