I have a wide spectrum of collecting habits and one of them is antique firearms. I have had a Rossi Garrucha for many years. The last time we fired it, the grips came apart. They were brittle factory plastic. I am having a hard time finding replacements. Tried Gun Parts, Bob's Gun parts with little luck. Was going to have some 90% ones from Tombstone but he is not taking orders right now. Any other ideas before I try to make some myself? TIA

The Garrucha is a double barrelled 22lr side by side derringer with dual hammers and triggers.

The Rossi Garrucha is probably of interest only as an odd ball collectible or curiosity piece.
It might be quicker to make molds off a set of unbroken grips from an intact gun and cast replacement grips than find spare grips for sale.
Finding an extant example of a Rossi Garrucha may be difficult.
I remember seeing them advertised, but never saw one in real life.

Maybe try finding someone who can 3D print you a set. A former firearms engineer friend who does some 3D printing told me that for anything like pocket knife handle and clips I'd need someone with more of a pro-sumer level printer that can handle better filaments than the brittle PLA, which is all most hobbyist level printers can handle.

That is an extremely cool handgun.

If one of your friends does minor woodworking stuff for a hobby, the grips might not be that hard to make.

I think that is the route I will go for now so it will be "complete", but I think I will pursue the originals still just to have them. I had also thought about a 3D printed version as I have one side panel that is still complete.

I just got one of these pistols as an inheritance from my father. Any idea where to source springs? The left side works perfect but the right side isn't going forward enough to strike the firing pin

Looks as if Bob's Gun Parts lists barrel, hammer and trigger springs. Check the second post in this thread.

This little gun killed more folks in Brazil than all the other firearms combined.
Until the 90's all households had one of these.
There are bigger ones: 320 and 380 ( obsolet calibers, similar to 32 and 38 but conical)
Very easy to find one up to date here.
No parts available though. You could make a rough one with a thin wood board and a knife, or 3d print. People mend theirs here with eletrician tape.

Someone has a pair of these on GunBroker right now, found using the keywords "Rossi" and "derringer." However, the seller says three of the four firing pins appear to be missing, and he's asking $500 for the pair. Of course, he has no bids yet.
