I sent my Rossi Rio grande in 3 weeks ago for warranty work as it was hitting 2 ft high. Got it back today with targets sporting great groups. Problem was the scope mount needs to be removed for iron sight shooting. Pretty embarrassing but great customer service with fast return.

That's good to hear Braztech is TKOB, most reports on Rossi are negative.

I have and shoot a '92 in 45 Colt and it's been a shooter from day one, only problem, it's hard on brass.

I'm leaning toward a Rio and it's tough choosing between 45-70 and 30-30.

Which caliber is yours ?

I was wondering about that scope mount...It's ok to remove it? I just bought the Rossi Rio Grande 45-70, It cycles fine but the loading gate is really stiff. I really don't like the scope mount but didn't know what screw holes led to underneath. Stevo.
