Ruger American .223 in house tonight

My LGS let me know last week they were expecting a couple of Ruger Americans in .223 sometime this week. Got a call today, they arrived. When time allowed I grabbed one and mounted a 3x9 Leupold scope. I'll know tomorrow if this will be as accurate as the other caliber offerings. BTW, the magazines for the other short action Americans will NOT work in the .223.

I was just about to post in the .223 American thread asking if anybody had actually seen one yet, I really like my .308.
Now my search intensifies
