Why does a Ruger Charger cost more than a 10/22. It's just a pistol sized 10/22 right? Why's it cost twice as much? If anything it should be cheaper.
 
In another Charger thread, many of the owners report better accuracy with the Charger than with a 10/22. I wouldn't be surprised if the barrel was higher quality than on a "basic" 10/22. The Charger also has a wood stock, not a plastic one like on the cheaper 10/22 models. The Charger comes with a bipod, a 10/22 doesn't. Then there's the whole supply/demand thing.

It's more than just one thing.
