I am very seriously considering a 4" stainless GP100 in .357 for my birthday in a couple of months. It would, among other things, be carried (OWB/open, generally) and serve as a house/nightstand gun.

Most of my other defensive pistols (Glocks) have night sites. I think I would like to continue this with the GP100 but I am not finding very many options. So far I have located Meprolight night sites, adjustable, for the GP100 at optics planet....for $110!

What other options are there? Any less expensive brand name options? I'm not used to night sites being this much. Not even my Ameriglo Operators broke $90 shipped.

Also, anybody with these sites have feedback on how they like them?

I bought a set of fiber optic (not tritium) 3 dot sights for my GP100 (Williams FireSights) from Midway for just under $50.

I think I want tritium night sights. Half of the usefulness I get from them is the ability to quickly locate the gun at night in the dark.

I've never used fiber optic sites. How visible are they in low light or real low light compared to night sites or standard sites?
