I have been looking at the 22-45 for some time now. The only reason I haven’t bought one is because of the grip.
That is also the same grip I have on my 1911 and it’s great!
What’s the secret? (please)

No secret really just a little work. Mill off existing grip, Drill new mounting holes and tap, use 1911 bushings and screws. Mod grip slightly to clear blot release and bottom to fit mag. Or send it to me and Ill do it all for you for $100 Plese note this is NOT reverseable.

That is pretty nice! Did you have to take all the textured grip material off? Did that leave plenty of material to tap threads in the plastic for the studs? I would imagine that is a specialty tap? Where are you located if I want to have you do it?

Thumbs up!

I've got the older model 22/45, and while the grip is all right as a training gun for a standard 1911, who the heck has a standard 1911? The variety of grips available is mind-boggling, and this allows you to match the guns to each other, and your preferences.

Definitely offer it.

PLEASE!... if you decide to mod a few, id send you my frame in a hot second... Ive been wanting to do this mod but im afraid i'll screw it up.
