Look at gunbroker.com. I payed $450 in 2008.

The 3" is a bit more desirable than the 2.25" version so it costs a bit more.
From my price research it seems about $500-$550 is the going rate for a new one.

$500 range in my area for the 3 inch 101 if you can find one. Regular 101's in the $350 range.

These revolvers have gone up in price. About a year and a half ago, you could have found one for about $425... It's a terrible thing.

That's a pretty normal price around here (I'm in St. Louis). I paid $505 + tax for one about eight months back. I could only find one after calling seven or eight shops, so I bought that one.

You might have to have a trigger job on that. My SA pull was fine, but the DA was pretty rough.
