Has Ruger said anything about what they plan to do with the Marlin line of lever action rifles?

I live in GA and it looks like we are about to elect 2 Democrat Senators in the run off, so Democrats will control all three branches of government and a new AWB is probably inevitable.

Lever actions will be spared. The Marlin acquisition may end up being a real smart move by Ruger.

There are a few threads on here, and Ruger has a few news announcements about the acquisition on their web page.

Short version - nothing is certain regarding specific models and model lines, other than the promise that Ruger intends to re-establish production of Marlin firearms at a Ruger facility.

I am in for a .454 1894. Heck if they are in stainless and blued, I will get one of both. One to look at and one to actually use, guess which one that would be ;).
