I need quite a few parts and accesories for a couple projects I have going. Trying to put a Nepal Cache P1853 rifle musket back into shape, and need a few things for my newest project, an 1873 Trapdoor Springfield rifle. Could use some other stuff they have too.

Dixie Gunworks has some of what I need, but not nearly all. However a company in New York, S&S Firearms in Glendale has virtually everything I need, and are competetivly priced. I guess these folks cater to the reinacting and Cowboy shooting crowd. They list parts for a myriad of US martial arms from the 1795 musket to the Krag, and just about every US issue arm inbetween. Also show decent prices on reproduction blackpowder arms.

I've never heard of these guy's before. Before I use my credit card with these folks I would like to see if anyone has done business with these people.

Has anyone here ordered stuff from S&S Firearms, and were you satisfied with your mechandise and service?

Thanx, Stevie.

My post was about to leave the page unanswered! This will put it to the top.

Anyone hear of these folks?

Online research shows them to be a reputable and intersting business. Ran by a Civil War reinacting family. One guy online likened S&S Firearms to be the closest thing to "Bannermans" since that company closed down in the 1950's.

Great people!

I have ordered a ton of Krag stuff from them, Great people, great service, Excellent parts! Big thumbs up from me!:D

I talked to a lady named Mary Ann this afternoon from S&S. Nice lady, say's they are going on vacation for a week starting tommorrow.

I'll let them enjoy their vacation then order.

Thanks for the response.
