S&W 15-4 S.C.E. stamp

Picked up a S&W 15-4 at gun show today for less than $300.00. Finish is around 90 to 95% with a great lock up. What I need help with is, it has a stamping on the left side of the frame just above the trigger guard-S.C.E. 197. Can anyone can help me I.D. it?

Southern California Edison, had it's own armed security staff. If I remember correctly many of its' guards were issued 4" M-15's.

Just a guess but it's the best one I got.

Did some research and you correct. Found some pictures of similar S&W,s with the same markings and all are from So.Cal. Edison. They had their own security for it,s nuclear plant.

That a very nice find for less than $300.
