My husband has a handgun with the following markings and was wondering what model it is:
Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass USA
patd March 27 1894 August 4 1896
December 22 1896 October 8 1901
December 17 1901 February 6 1906
32 Long CTG
serial #69932
The handle appears to be mother of pearl (it looks translucent)
It has a half-moon sight (sp?)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It could be one of several models. The info you have posted is insufficent for identification. If you could post pictures, then someone could help you. (By the way, welcome to THR!)

I'll take a shot at it... :D

From your description, and the patent dates, I think you have a Smith & Wesson .32 Hand Ejector, Model of 1903, 2nd Change.

These were six-shot .32 revolvers with round butt frames. They were made between 1906 and 1909, within a serial number range running from 51,127 to 95,500. Barrel lengths (measuring from the front of the cylinder to the end of the muzzle) were 3 1/4, 4 1/4 and 6 inches. Standard finishes were blue or nickel plate. Peral stocks were available as an extra-cost option. The serial number should be stamped on the bottom of the butt, the rear cylinder face, and on the bottom of the barrel above the ejector rod.
