S&W 327 M&P barrel question

I recently bought a brand new S&W 327 M&P revolver. I shot about 200 rounds through it, and it seems to be fairly accurate. As I was cleaning it today, I noticed that the barrel feels loose. It has some play to it, with me being able to wiggle it.

I don't know if this is how the 2 piece barrel design is, so I was wondering if there are other owners of the same revolver or S&W TRR8 who can tell me if they have the same situation with the barrel. I would call S&W, but they are closed for the weekend.

I normally carry the revolver, but until I am sure that the barrel is fine I will just leave it home. Thanks for the help.

No, regardless of when it was made, S&W revolver barrels are not supposed to wiggle.

Do not continue to shoot it. Call S&W customer service first thing Monday morning.
