S&W 500 Holster Reccomendations

Hey all, looking for recommendations on a good holster for a S&W 500 magnum (8 3/8” barrel, no scope). Looking both a shoulder rig and also a holster to throw on the front seat, not necessarily a belt carry holster. I know of a few that fit, but curious if anyone has recommendations on maybe some lesser known (to me) brands. Thanks!

Thanks! Funny side story, right after I bought my 500, I was online ordering an IWB for my Sig, and the wife asked what I was ordering. I replied “a cc holster”, to which she replied - “How and where the hell are you going to hide that thing?” She thought it was for the 500

Gunfighters Inc Kenai Chest holster is a nice way to carry a long heavy revolver. They make an X-frame version.


This in my Kenai for an N-frame with my S&W 610 with a 6.5-inch barrel.


Your's truly modeling it a couple years ago getting ready for deer season.

The big thing I like about the Kenai is that the three strap insertion points are spread out over the large flanges of the kydex holster. This makes it a very stable holster when worn. The straps have enough adjustment that you can wear it in the center of the chest hi or low and adjusted to one side or the other.
