Has anybody had any experience reloading the 50 caliber S&W 500 magnum?
I am presently reloading for the Performance Center S&W 500 Magnum using Hornady 350 JHP bullet on top of Hodgdon 110 39-43 gr powder.

The Hornady bullets are pricey and I am looking for a cheaper bullet but do not wish to make my own lead bullets nor have any problem with leading with a commercially available lead bullet. Rainier makes copper clad bullets but they could not give me any reloading data.
I would appreciate any info.
Thanx

I use Cast Performance Bullet Company's 370 grain cast gas check. For a hard thumper, I use 39 grains of Win 296. Lighter loads, I use 12.5 grains of Unique. Both loads I use Starline brass and CCI Standard Large Rifle primers. So far, that's the only bullet weight I have used.
