The bottom 3 are police model shotguns. I would like to know if a front sling mount under the magazine cap was available for the folding stock model. I also need a source for the plastic piece that snaps over the folding stock. Is there any source for the accessories for these shotguns (mag extentions, gas grenade launcher, other stuff)? These are model 3000 shotguns, I have heard many bad things about the 916 models. I have a 30'' barrel for the top gun and plan to try it on clay birds.

The S&W Model 3000 was actually made by Howa of Japan for S&W.

After S&W dropped the shotgun line, Mossberg picked up the gun for about 2 years before they too dropped it.

Both S&W and Mossberg sold all parts to Gun Parts Corporation, who list the same basic parts inventory under both the S&W and Mossberg name.

They carry SOME police items, but seem to have sold out of extensions.

For an extension, I recommend emailing Choate to ask if they have one that'll fit.

For sling swivels that mount in the magazine cap, check with Uncle Mike's.
They sell a wide variety of sling swivel setups, including studs that can be installed in just about any cap that has a hole in it, or can have a hole drilled.
You might have to contact them direct to get what you need.

Thanks for the information. I will leave these alone if I can't find S&W items. I have a 3 rnd mag extention that I got from CDNN, they seem to be the only folks that carry extentions to fit S&W (Howa) guns. I am not using it because it sticks out past the end of the 18.5" barrel.
According to the Standard Catalog of Smith&Wesson, the accessories will be marked S&W. It may take a while to find this stuff. So many people use this site, I figured that I might gey lucky with some leads.
