Sako integral rail

I have recently found that there is a Sako mount XS back up peep sight. I have heard that some Sako and Tikka rifles share the same rail, and also that some Tikka's have the 16mm rail, like a CZ 527.

Now that i have worked you into this nice little circle i have found... Is the Sako integral rail 16mm, and will Sako rings (and hence, this back up sight) work on my 527 carbine?

Hopefully someone will understand that, and be able to answer the question

All the Sakos I have seen had their proprietary tapered dovetail integral bases.

I don't know the width of a Sako dovetail, I haven't owned one for years.
But the point is, it is tapered and the CZ is straight. I can't see them interchanging.

What do you mean by "it's tapered"?

when I look at this picture, it looks like just a regular dovetail.

I'm not trying to sound argumentative, I just don't understand what you mean.
