I need disassembly instructions for a Sako L579 Pre Garcia .243 bolt the one without the shroud...

I have the bolt shroud assembly out of the bolt body but I cannot free the spring and release the firing pin assembly. I have the tiny lock screw out but the main screw in the back of the cocking piece won't screw out any further...

I'm going to wait for some instruction rather than buggering it- it's very cruddy and it's time for a detail cleaning...

Any good links appreciated...

OK, I answered my own question:

For future reference and search functions:

After the lock screw is removed from the cocking piece, the main screw in the back of the cocking piece is turned IN not out.

The screw is one piece with the firing pin/striker assembly. Be careful as the assembly will still be under spring pressure...

During reassembly, index the cut slots on the side of the screw assembly in a 12 o'clock/6 o'clock relationship so the lock screw will engage one of the slots.

Interesting design, I'm liking it...
