[Edited] Other than that it looks interesting just wish the vid hadn't showed the bullet breaking limbs to get to the elk. I already know enough supreme hunters that think their 336 Marlin 30-30 can easily kill deer through trees cause the gun is often referred to as a brush gun. Those folks need no further encourgement. I can hear it now "My fancy new French boooolits outta my brush gun can kill a deer at 1000 yards standing behind a Redwood tree."

So that's what the term brush gun comes from? I thought it had to do with it being durable in crappy environments.

Looks interesting, I am going to have to check that out, thanks for the heads up............

"Brush Gun" generally refers to a short rifle or carbine that handles and carries well and points quickly in dense woods, etc...'Handy in the Brush'

In the decades of gunzines BI (Before Internet) you would seldom go a year without an article on "brush bucking bullets." With various calibers and loads shot through bushes or even racks of dowels to give uniform obstructions. The sensationalized ones recommended what to shoot through brush. The honest ones said not to try it.
