I have been interested in buying a 17HMR for plinking for some time now. I like the stock and the trigger on this rifle. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this rifle and if the accutrigger makes a difference.

I've got one... different colors in the stock, and mine is blued, but it's the same rifle.

The accutrigger is great. I've got mine zeroed (cheap Bushnel scope) at 100 yards. I was picking off clay pigeons sitting on a berm at 185 yards last weekend, aim point at the top rim of the clays. Droping about 2", with CCI ammo.

The magazine is the only part of this rifle that needs to be reworked. It's reliable, but they spend absolutly no time trying to make it pretty, or on the finishing table.

Great shooting little gun, I'm happy as I can be with mine!

Very happy with my 93R17FVSS. It's the same as the BTVS, just in a synthetic stock. Damn fun and accurate rifles for a good price.
