Savage Model 6a, my latest impulse purchase.....

I've been on a shopping spree this week and stumbled across this gurl a few hours ago-----I may have stuffed myself on this thing price-wise ($182.00 otd), but tuff crap, I really like it. Savage Model 6a, built somewhere 'twixt the late 30's & mid 60's. Gots a pretty walnut stock and some decent metal. Kind of an odd ball gun with some weird idiosyncrasies........but whatever, I'll find out in ten daze if I screwed up or not......

(oh yeah, heard the best line ever from the salesman today-----'Every firearm enthusiast needs at least one gun that does not have a serial number on it......' Klassic.... :lol: )
