saw off 12ga stalk

I have a 12ga single barrel shotgun and would like to know where and how to saw off the stalk after barrel sawed off

What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish?

A shotgun must have an 18" barrel and an overall length of 26" to be legal in the USA.

As for the Stock?
Some guns have a draw-bolt through the rear of the stock holding it on the receiver.
You don't want to saw that off.

BTW: A stalk is something corn grows on.

18 inch barrel, 26" overall length barrel muzzle to end of the stock

anything less requires federal paperwork for a SBS - without that it is felony and 10 years, $250,000, and no guns forever
