I BOUGHT SOME LEUPOLD 96 2 PIECE SCOPE RING BASES I READ A THREAD
SOMEWERE THAT THESE WOULD WORK ON MY 93 GUN.I TOOK TO GUNSMITH
TO BE TAPPED AND DRILLED AND HE SAID THE REAR BASE WOULDN,T WORK
WITH MY BOLT. i HAD ALREADY BOUGHT A BENT BOLT FROM NUMRICH . ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAL WHAT I CAN DO TO ALTER THE REAR BASE OR WHAT MOUNTS WILL WORK ON M93 SPANISH MAUSER

I can't think of any reason the rear base would have anything to do with the bolt handle not working with it.

It either fits the receiver ring, or not.
If it fits the rear receiver ring, it would not project off the back, or interfere with any style bolt handle.

Perhaps the problem is that it interferes with the clip loading slot on the rear bridge and he is trying to mount it too far back?

It is common to grind the clip slot off and recounter the rear ring when mounting a scope base on any military Mauser.

BTW: Please turn off the CAPS LOCK.
ALL CAPS IS YELLING!!!

Do these bases look like what you bought?

They are designed to fit over the clip slot bridge.

Is the bolt bent intentionally to clear a scope, or is it just a curved replacement, cavalry style?

Pictures would make it easier to assess.

Somehow I get the feeling that you also believe that it is OK to just substitute one bolt for another. It most definitely is not! You might get lucky with proper headspace and you might just as easily blow some cases. Do be sure to have someone with headspace gages (and the knowledge to use them properly) check headspace for you.
