Hi, all.
Have a FN .308, would appreciate any input you have on a single scope that would work both for hunting and HD. I would like to be able to take hunting shots out to 250-300 yards, but also engage targets close up if I take a rifle class one day.
I am familiar with 3-9x "typical" hunting scopes, which work great for hunting, but not so ideal for HD. Seems like a 1-4 would do well, but I'd prefer a normal reticle rather than some weird donut thing. Problem is, 1-4 scopes with a normal reticle seem to be either very cheap or very expensive.
What would you recommend?
