Scope Rings Help QUICK! please :)

I am currently ordering a scope. It is a Millet Varmint 4-16x56mm. I got a weaver style scope base. I was looking for rings and came across some $11 Leupolds. It says it is a 1 inch. The scope has a 30mm tube. Will the 1 inch rings hold a 30mm tube? Thanks.

30mm = 1.18"

1" = 25.4mm

so no, it wont fit.

No, match the rings to the scope. Get 30mm rings.

Will do. My friend from the rifle section at Sportsman's reccommended this to me. He has one mounted on a .308 and says its been one of the best scopes he's had; that basically convinced me. And also Millett gives you a lifetime warranty on them.
