Scout style for X-eye dominant?

Hi Guys
I have my heart set on a Scout rifle. My question is: with a RH shot and left eye dominant will the IER scope set up be an advantage, disadvantage or neither? My thinking is that I will be able to finally bring my stronger left eye into play with both eyes open....... but no experience yet. Thanks in advance. Bob

I am right handed and Left eyed. I shoot pistols right and rifles left.

I am strongly left-eye dominant, and have no problem shooting both-eyes-open with a Kobra collimator sight, which is like a fancy tubeless red dot. I don't know if that would work with a magnified optic, though.
