Searcy county Ar - fall hunting

SIL wants to try hunting Thankgiving around Marshall, Ar, for his kids (7th & 4th graders). It's annual family outing, tags are pretty high for out of state so he wants to know if it is worth the cost. He wants his kids to grow up to be men, not computer game wimps. He doesn't have much opportunity in urban city. Not looking for secret places, but is it worth the $50/day?

Here is a link to the 2006-2007 harvest, if you scroll down to the map it shows harvest by county. I think the state has plenty of deer and not enough hunters.

tri70 - thanks he booked the cabin. I sent him the link you showed, really good info. He got most of his questions answered. The older boy is going to be busy, 2 day backpack hike, I gave him a flyrod and some flies, plus a couple days hunting. Good kid, wants to learn stuff.
