Yup, I'd take the custom Lee route...but I already mostly use their dies.

And the folks I dealt with at Lee Precision were great. Left a very good impression on me.

Real mills run on three phase and rotary phase converters and that much electricity gets spendy.

I've converted all my machines a single phase 1hp motors and they do fine. But of course I'm not trying to make a living with them.

I have more time than electrical service.

I just received my hand polish seating stem from RCBS today.

You started this thread last Wed. So you mailed them a bullet and they milled a new stem and you had it back on Monday? Interesting. RCBS told me to expect a 3 week turn-around.

I recently got a custom sized mold (4-6 week wait) and custom sized bullet sizer (similar quoted wait) both within 10-15 days, two different places. Neither were RCBS so can't comment on their turnaround.

I think manufacturers are giving worst case scenario timelines, they really don't know what or when the next run on supplies/hoard will be at this point.

I called them and explained the problem that I was having and they offered to send me the same stem with the sharp edge polished off free of charge so I'm going to give it a try
