I just found out that the SAF has opened an online store in order to continue funding their legal challenges to gun restrictions like McDonald v. Chicago. Seems that this is a good way to support them without requiring membership. The store seems to sell typical gun accessories like so many other places we shop.

If their prices are competitive we should at least give the store a look and support their mission.

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't we support them even if their prices weren't lower? Do we only fight for our rights when it doesn't cost us any more or require any extra effort?

Just askin'...

We should. But it doesn't mean we will. For some people, the almighty dollar is what is most important.

I guess that's why we gun owners are getting our [fannies] kicked by [anti's] who stop at nothing to support their causes. It's a shame, really. I guess the idea that freedom isn't free hasn't really sunk in with some of us.

Yeah, I thought so, too. It'd make some good range wear. And a way to open a dialog with people who have no clue. Part of the problem we have is that the public doesn't meet REAL gun owners, only the ones that they see on the nightly news. We're all ambassadors... no reason to lose an opportunity - and wear some cool shirts at the same time.

I post that stuff in office, wear it on my shirts, hang it in my windows, and converse on it frequently. I am kind and respected in my community and I think it is important for folks and the general population to associate folks like me with guns and gun ownership and concealed carry. We should be the pillars of our communities and act like it.

By the way, the whole gun thing horrifies my employer. That's one thing the Union is good for, eh?

Thanks for the tag!

Maybe, until they tell you to vote for politicians who are uniformly against what you stand for.

With Heller and McDonald on our side and no less than 7 cases involving the 2A in Federal District or Circuit Court, I'd hardly portray that as an "ass whippin" The Brady's are broke, and a recent poll showed 83% of Americans in favor of gun ownership, Far from an fanny whipping IMO. We're winning.
