I haven't seen any posts on this in a while. I wanted to refresh everyone's memory that this is still going on and we still need to let the ATF know what we think about it! An email link is below.
The ATF is performing a 'study' to try and ban the importation of semi-automatic shotguns with any of the below features. The ATF is currently conducting a test to determine whether or not these shotguns can be considered as having a sporting use or not. If the guns are 'sporting' then the ATF will continue to allow the importation.

The problem is that the firearms available for purchase in America are not based on whether or not the firearms have a 'sporting use'. The firearms available in America are based on our freedom to get food (hunt/sporting use) as well as our freedom to defend ourselves. Defend ourselves from what you ask? Animals, criminals, invaders, dictatorships, and etc.
If you could, please send your own email to: [email protected] A simple short polite email is just fine.
