I wonder how high above the target he had to hold. I used to shoot at a club in V T that had a 500 yard range. They had a full sized buffalo silhouette set up on the berm at 500 yards. If memory serves, with my .54 caliber Jaeger with 1:66 " twist and using a patched round ball over 100 grains of 2f I had to hold what appeared to be at least 6 feet over the top of the target and if the wind wasn't blowing I might hit it once out of 10 shots, That is some pretty nifty shooting by Idhao Lewis.

Check out the vernier sight. He’s got elevation to spare so he can hold dead on the mark. His bullet probably hits its apex at least 10 feet above line of sight.
