Hey guys just a rather simple question from a novice shooter. I seem to be just off to the left @ 15 feet illustrated in the attached picture with my 9 mm M&P. I shoot ever single gun I pick up just like this and I'm wondering what to work on. I have the Shooters chart that tells me I have too little or too much trigger pull or I could be sqeezing my fingers when pulling the trigger. Not sure how to interpret all that.
Some background on me:
I have a stigmatism and don't wear corrective lenses so I shut my left eye (the eye with the problem)
I am right eye dominant
I am a right handed shooter
Questions:
Are you supposed to have your dominant hand (in my case right) extending straight out and stiff to compenate for recoil?
Could I be pulling the trigger too much after the shot?
Anything that you can think of will help so let me have it! Thanks!
