Shooting Of Man Trying To Drown Babies Justified, Says OK Prosecutor

Pontotoc county prosecutor Paul Smith stated that a neighbors killing of Leland Foster was justified.

"Freeman, a neighbor, shot Foster three times after seeing him holding the infants under water in a bathtub while threatening the children's mother with a knife.

Smith says the shooting "was certainly necessary under these gripping circumstances."

I would hope it would be ruled justifiable! Attempted murder is certainly on the list for AZ for justifiable deadly physical force.

I can't see any problem with this. The bad guy was armed and trying to kill someone. I don't see any option under the circumstances.
