Shooting Ranges/Spots Near Olympia, WA

Hi, I am looking at different areas to relocate and I am just starting to look into the Olympia area. Does anyone here know what shooting ranges there have action pistol and 100+ yard high power rifle range? I was looking at Capitol City, which looks like a nice club but they don't talk about membership anywhere on their website. Are they open to new members? Is it a normal rifle range or is it a club that only hosts events? I wasn't quite sure. I'd be interested to know the best ranges and shooting spots in the area.

Capitol City is taking new members. On the first page of their website, click on the " enter the main site" link. Then about halfway down the page in the How to Join box, click on the CCRP brochure and that will provide you with the information you need. It's a nice place. They do host many events but there's lots of open range time as well.

Might be a bit of a drive from olympia, but the Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club is pretty good. They have a 200 yard rifle line and a pistol line, with some seperate action pistol bays. The range is open to the public, but you have to be a member to shoot in the pistol bays.
