Same situation, here. I shoot all guns, longguns and handguns, left-handed.

Just got back from my eye doctor who pointed out that folks like us can never reach our full potential in basketball or pool. Oddly enough, those were my favs growing up.

It's incredible how much visual cross dominance screws with our abilities to be angular-accurate in pointing at something. Another tough one is darts - unless I throw slightly overhand from above my right shoulder (no visual aiming) I don't stand a chance.

Right handed, left eye dominate. I shoot pistols either handed using my left eye. Long guns I shoot left. I can shoot right handed but I prefer to shoot left, it is much more natural for me to do so.

And baseball. I could never accurately judge the location of a fastball. Until I'd spot it with the side of my head.

:D

That only happened once, though.

I am RH left eye dominant, but am a total buffoon with my left hand, thus I always shoot right handed right eyed. It has never seemed to cause me any problems. I recently had LASIK surgery done and I am now 20/15 in both eyes yet still left eye dominant. I just squint my left as I raise to target and once I have acquisition it stays there and can open my other eye.

Try a good red-dot scope. Mount it forward "scout style" and use both eyes. A lot of people find this comfortable.
