I used to shoot trap every week in high school, but since then I've kinda forgotten everything that happened before I met my wife (I've gotten married, had a baby, and graduated college in the last 2 years, not much room for any other memories in there). Explain trap, skeet, sporting clays, etc. for me please. Thanks guys!

Trap is shooting normally 1 target at a time that is going away from you either straight away, ot at a slight angle. It ranges from 16 yards to 27 yards with 5 stations.

Skeet is set in a semi-circle with a high house target nad a low house target at either end. They are set on a predetermined course and the shooter moves around the semi-circle at 8 different stations shooting single birds and some doubles.

Sporting clays is usually set in a woods and different target presentations to simulate different game animals to shoot at. Rabbit targets will roll on the ground and there is usually som e minis and midi targets along with standard targets. Minis are about 2 inches across, and midis about 3 inches across.
