What I don't get is why nobody here is doing like what they did on AR15.com, a 12 page thread on just stuff like that.

Well since we're stealing pics, here's a pic of an EoTech just like the one I put on my AR!

Valkman, I was thinking I should have got one of those or similar for the AR15, but when I asked the local gunny shop they said they mainly dealt w/ tubes because the holos' washout in sunlight- have you noticed that at all ?, Or where they Bsing me just to sell their tubes. By the way the one guy used to shoot on the ESPN shooting shows and always used a tube.

I think shops dis whatever they don't have in stock - that way they don't have to order anything. Either that or they just don't know!

EoTech's are used by our soldiers and have passed very tough military testing, as have ACOG's. Don't know if Aimpoint had those tests done or not.

They have 20 brighness settings, so if you need more red dot you have it. When you aim out of a darker area into a brighter area you can just turn the brightness up.
