as many here will tout, any gun other than a .25acp is better than a .25acp....yet these guns sold a lot, sell a lot, and have saved the day countless times......

as if it is a "dirty little secret" that you want no one to know, i know that many .45acp toting folks also own a .25acp....

so, open up the sock drawer, empty your pocket, pull out the couch cushions, open the cut out book or where ever the might be stashed......

show us your Raven, your 950, your Colt Jr., your Ortigies.......

tell us how you came about owning it and why you keep it to this very day....

p.s. spare us the p32 is lighter crap.......this is just for fun, nostalgia, and small talk....

I have a Raven 25 ACP. It was given to me by my father in law and was what started me out in guns. It was the first one I ever owned. I now have 21, both long guns and handguns. I'll always hold a special place in my heart for that little Raven. I'll try to snap a pic, but it looks like every other Raven, although it does have a little pitting (happened before I started caring for it).

Wow, I don't have a single pic of my Beretta M21 in .25 or the Browning I often carry. I often carry them in my pocket as a back up. In this case you can see one of my other Browning .25's bottom center.

The others are the 1900, 1903, 1910, 1910/22, 1971 in case anyone cares.

I have a couple of .25 's both Colt 1908's. Great little auto pistols, fun to shoot, and very accurate out to ten yards.

nice Colts....is that top one nickled or chromed?

ive thought about the Astra copy of it....but even those are going for top dollar now......

a stainless beretta 950 .25acp would be neat.....

Neither, it's a tuff koat of some type. I picked that Colt up at a gun show several years back for less than 200.00 dollars. Nice little CCW when you need somthing small.

Condition will determine the price. Nickel goes for more if in very good to excellent condition. Go to Gunbroker or Auctionarms and check the prices to compair you pistols condition and the prices being ask.

I bought a Raven from a buddy of mine. After he gave it to me he refused to let me pay him. I keep eying things I think he needs so I can give him something in return. Right now I'm thinking about a 1911 drum mag.

Anyway, nobody ever proclaims that .25 ACP will kill you deader than dead like they tend to do about other calibers, but I like my little Raven.

thats a nice little old school Raven.....

ive owned a Raven .25acp, a Davis .32acp, and a Jennings .22lr.

all were 100% reliable with FMJ/RN ammo.....

of course the "safety" is seriously lacking as is the zinc pot metal construction....but they were neat little guns for one starting out with next to nothing.....when a spare $50.00 is hard to come up with, you get what you can.....

I've got a Beretta and Raven. Not first pick for a fight but Skeeter Skelton once said with a 25 you might be able to bluff your way out. No one wants to get shot not even with a 25.

Beretta 950, 950 BS and Model 20.

I prefer the 950, sold to me by a friend who wouldn't take more than the $65.00 he had in it.

Found the Model 20 at a pawn shop, can't let go of the smallest DA pistol Beretta ever made.

Traded into the 950 BS, prettier than the 950 (more blue finish) but I like the lack of thumb safety better.

I keep these 950s because the magazine capacity is significantly better than the same gun in .22 short.

had a little Tanfoglio .25ACP that i let go. kinda miss it. but if anyone in central texas owns a .25 and wants some personal defense ammo then you can have mine for free. i have some speer goldots. just pm me.

I dont have a pic. but i have a lorcin .25 I let my daughter shoot it. Its been a gun little gun.
