Sig 2009

I bought a Sig 2009 9mm this weekend. Two friends have told me they "think" I can put a .40 cal barrel in the 2009 and it will function properly.

Is there any truth to this?

No. In order to do this you would need to have purchased a Sig 2340. The barrel is larger as the bullet is larger in .40.

What you could have done is then bought a drop-in barrel from someone like Bar-Sto.

You are stuck with the 9mm.
