I have a Sig 320 45acp Full Size pistol with a medium frame. I think all of the 320's come standard with a medium frame. I am thinking of getting the large frame for it as I have big hands. It doesn't look to me like it's that much larger than the medium but I've read posts from some people say that it makes quite a difference even though the dimensions don't indicate that.

Anybody have any experience with that

I haven't used the large frame, but I do notice a substantial difference going from a medium to a small.

The best thing to do to determine if the larger size will fit you better is to find a LGS that has the SIG 320 Grip Module display...I've seen one in every LGS that carries SIG pistols...where they'll have all three sizes for you to compare.

When I compared them, I found that there was enough difference that the Large module did not let me pull the frame straight back into the web of my hand

Not sure about the large, but as Fiv3r says. There is a pretty good difference between the small and large. Small is to small for me, med is perfect.

I shoot the medium frame. I have held the large and small frames but not shot them, even without the weight of the slide you can tell the difference between them. If you are in doubt go to a local store that stocks the large frame and see if holding it helps you tell if it will fill your needs.
