Sig Sauer 239 - Accessories

I just bought a stock Sig Sauer 239. Plain and black, with no bells or whistles. I'd like to get a few accessories, specifically, night sights and wood grips. The night sights I'll get put on locally, but I'd like some input about websites or shops that sell aftermarket accessories for the 239, and this looks like the place to ask. If there are other upgrades I can make to this weapon, I'm all ears.

Just one comment. If the standard factory grips fit your hand, stick with them because they're about the slimmest you'll find. If your hand size is such that you can afford more bulk (grip thickness), you can check out wood grips from Hogue or others.
 
Other than night sights and a good set of grips I wouldn't do much else except buy yourself a good amount of magazines. I like to keep 5 for each of my pistols. You might also want to stock up on ammo.

If you want good quality gear, consider getting Trijicon night sights. They are the longest lasting, most durable sights out there. They are made of high quality aluminum so they won't rust, and if you what a two color scheme(front green, rear yellow) you can do that. I really like the Hogue wrap around grips on all Sigs, it does "slightly" make accessing controls along the grip a little more difficult, but the gripping improvement is impressive. I also think that Crimson Trace makes some laser grips for the P239 if that interests you.
 
Slap a lasermax in and you wont need night sights.....

IMTHDUKE: That is a beauty! I'm guessing the red background is the holiday wrapping you were going to use for my gift??????? :D

Replace the factory grips with Crimson Trace Lasergrips.. You get a greatly improved grip over the factory ones, and you get a tack driver in accuracy at any reasonable self defense distance.

Spend the rest of your play monies on extra factory mags, or ammo. :)

One other thing....

Hogue also makes stainless steel hex grip screws for the P239. It's definately a must for corrosion resistance.
 
The Hogue finger groove grips make the 239 a much better handling pistol.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions. I got the Houge finger grips, which really does improve my grip. Now I've got to replace the sights.

Sig Sauer P239 .40 cal (top left) Llama .22 cal (top right-piece of junk), German Luger that my dad bought in a bar in Germany for $25 in the 1950's (center), Smith & Wesson .38 cal (lower left), and AMT .380 cal (another piece of junk).
 
I sent my 239 slide in to Sig for factory night sights... they are awesome. Beyond that, I just tossed some Hogue rubber grips on there. I'm not a big fan of laser beams and other bling bling. I just spent the rest of my cash on mags, holsters, and ammo.
