So I got a 20 gauge Remington 870, and I've been doing some hunting. I'm looking at getting a rifle, but their all picked over now and I'm trying to hunt this weekend and next week for deer. I've shot a steel plate at 50 yards consistently, but I just don't feel confortble when the deer steps out and all I have is the bead with nothing to line it up with. Does anyone have a good set of sights that would go on the rib to help? I use this gun for everything, squirrel, rabbit, ducks, etc. So I want something that I could use for that also or be easy to take on and off?

I think all you need on a Shotgun is a bead unless your shooting slugs at 100+ yds. I use no bead (no sight at all) for Duck Hunting. If the Gun fits you properly you don't need a bead for Ducks.

I just would feel more comfortable if I had a better way to tell accuracy. If I still haven't bought anything by next week I'm just goin buy like 3 boxes of 15 slugs and go practice with the bead I guess. My buddy has a Benelli with some kind of three point sight and it was nice.
