Silencertalk.com shoot, 9/22/07 Red Hill, GA

Advanced Armament Corp. is hosting a shoot on 9/22/07 at the range in Red Hill, GA. There will be vendors displaying their wares, shooting, prizes (including suppressors!), and I believe BBQ. James DeGroat is supposedly bringing a suppressed minigun. Admission is $15 (I think - may be $20 now). Below is a map to the range. Shooting is from 10am-6pm. No minors allowed on the firing line for insurance purposes.

Wow I can't believe there isn't any interest in a bunch of full autos, suppressed guns, and free suppressors.

I'm not sure what the deal is with ammo - I didn't make it to the last shoot. Check out silencertalk.com for info on this shoot and the last one. This will be my first trip out to this event. Understand, this is a fairly large shoot. I think they're expecting around 400 people throughout the course of the day.

I asked on silencertalk and got a response from a member. Sounds pretty cool...

You should be prepared with your own ammo, or be prepared to buy it there (there was some being sold last time, that does not mean ammo will be there this time)
You don't need a silencer or host to participate. Most of the sponsors will let you shoot their goods.....or at least let you watch.
The drawings and door prizes (not that there is a door) are all pretty good gear, ammo, flashlights, etc...and it is worth attending.
This is ONE chance to see different cans on different hosts and do your own shopping.
If you are thinking about buying a silencer, you don't want to miss this..

Oh yeah, it is 97 today, but a bit cloudy.....be prepared for bugs and hot weather.....not as hot as the last shoot (fingers crossed)but hot none the less...
