I have many optics, mostly Leupolds, and a few eotechs, etc. The Simmons WTC on my .17HMR is serving me well, so i thought i would try their budget Blazer line.
A brand new Simmons Blazer 4x32 at only $20- worth a try. Mounted by Luepold QRW (good rings) ontop of a cheapy Keltec SU16B (very low recoil .223 semi-auto gas gun which i am very happy with). The combo looked like a promising budget brawler- but only about 60 rounds of American Eagle (not a very stout .223) and the Blazer dropped some internal lense... I can hear it rattle around inside.. and yes, the scope is now useless.
I will try simmons warranty next week, but even if/when fixed, I have no interest in using her again, for a brake in the field would really suck.
