SKS Bedding

I have successfully glass bedded several bolt rifles over the years and am
very familiar with the process.
Having said that, what areas on the SKS action should be bedded to
prevent fore and aft movement?
It appears that any material added to the rear of the action would prevent
removal of the stock because of the downward rotation required at the aft
end. And of course, you would not do this on a bolt rifle.
I guess I could make a "glue-in" like the benchrest guys do. LOA

I've bedded SKS. You're right, you have to be very careful. It would be easy to lock that stock in.

I didn't put much Acraglass at the rear and none around the trigger group or magazine. Only at the top of the stock and a little at the corners. I kept away from the recoil lug which must have a little space in order to swing the action out of the stock. I concentrated mostly around the front; around the bolt going horizontally through the stock, at the front of the stock where it fits into the metal under the gas tube and along the sides to prevent any rotation.

Pull the action out of the stock and put it back together without the mag and trigger group. Carefully inspect how it fits in there and how it needs to come apart.
