I figure this was a legal kind of question.
A few years ago I bought my SKS and went right for making it look like an "Evil" gun. I wanted to do the whole parts game thing, but now I'm kind of tired of how the Tapco stock looks. Its just.. bulky.. and cold? is about how I describe it.
So, since I still have all the original furniture, I wanted to know if it is legal or not to modify the orignal stock to fit my stature better. And, since I want a small scope on the Chaote scope mount I have on it, its a little hard to load.
So, my question is, Can I use 5 round detachable magazines, and modify the original furniture? Last time I asked about any modifications, it was quite a sketchy subject. I'd just like to clear it up again.
I'd kind of like the butt of the stock to look like one of the top two in this picture. I dont plan on using the thumbhole, but if the first one isnt as comfortable, then I might do it. The front half will be the normal SKS stock.
