SKS's are heavy, BUT, that can be somewhat fixed with an aftermarket composite stock and the removal of unnecessary garbage like the bayonet, grendade launcher and grenade sights.
SKS's are more accurate than most AK's, and more reliable than most AR's when they get filthy. Thats why I personaly feel a SKS with some Tapco 20 round magazines and a T6 stock is a superior rifle to either an AK or AR.
