Small CCW Weapon?

Hi there,

Well, let's see, I started with a Beretta 21A Bobcat, then the Kel Tec P-32 and P-3AT and wound up with a S&W 642-2.

Why? The revolver, if properly maintained, works all of the time and can be used for "contact distance" shooting. It is reasonably accurate and uses a wider variety of loads that can be purchased easily.

The S&W has become my "always" handgun.

J-frame.

You'll wind up with one eventually, anyway. Might as well save some money and headaches and get one now. ;)

Totally agree - I ended up with four J-Frames. I never leave home without one.

Plus again for the Kahr PM9. 317 rounds to date and not problems at all. Pocket or IWB is great!

Kahr PM9 in a semi-auto, S&W 642 in a revolver.

Carry either one in a Desantis pocket holster, and you will find that you always have a handgun with you. I find that I carry the PM9 more of the time, due to the fact that I can carry an extra 7 round mag in the opposite pocket with ease. I haven't found a good way to carry either a speedloader or speedstrip for the J-frame unless I am wearing a jacket.
