Smith and Wesson 4516 magazines: interchangeable?

Hey everyone,

I have an S&W 4516. Its double/single auto-loader in 45acp. It takes single stack 7rd magazines. Years ago I was issued a 4506 which took 8 round single stack magazines. I was wondering if there are any other smith and wesson single stack magazines that would fit/function in my 4516. This being, just in case I cant find any 4516 mags at the store.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where were you a week ago? I just sold one of my two 4516's last week and the guy that bought it only wanted 5 of my 9 mags. The other 4 mags I sold on Gunbroker for $80. The 4516 mags will also work in 457, 4536, 4556, 4596 and 4553TSW to the best of my knowledge and I assume the visa versa. By the way, you can also get 10 round mags for it from ProMag. You should be able to find 4516 mags pretty easily by searching the web.
