Okay, I've found on the inside of the frame where the cylnder swings out. It says MOD 65-4. So I am assuming this is the model. Can anyone give me any good information about this gun.

Thanks Again.

This is the stainless version of the model 13, which is a .357 version of the Model 10. They were made generally for law enforcement and security use, with a big chunk of sales going in that direction. They are good, solid self defense weapons.

The K-frame 357s were discontinued about 10 years ago in favor of the L frame, which is slightly beefier. In the 70s, there was some VERY hot lightweight ammunition out there (Super Vel brand) that cracked some K-frame 357s. So don't shoot tons of super-hot 357 rounds in it.

K-frames are great .38 Special platforms, and can be laser-accurate with .38 target loads whether you have a fixed or adjustable sight model. That one should date to the early/mid '90s I think based on the -4 and the "BPC" prefix.

According to SCSW, the -4 was introduced in 1988, along with the -5 (-4 was square butt, -5 was round butt). The square butt was eliminated in the '95 - '96 timeframe, and the -6 was introduced in 1997. Based on the serial number, your gun dates from 1993.
